Startup Connect takes part in Annual event of the South-East Finland – Russia CBC Programme - STARTUP CONNECT (KS1016)

Annual event dedicated to the implementation of the South-East Finland – Russia CBC 2014-2020 Programme took place in ITMO University on December 10-11, 2019.

On the first day, trainings session on communication, promotion and project management were held. Besides, the informational seminar on 6th round of call was organized for the partners of the projects implemented under the Programme.

On the second day, there were thematic sessions on partnership, project development and implementation of sustainable results as well as the exhibition of Programme’s projects. Startup Connect project*, which aims to support start-up entrepreneurship and SME cooperation, also took part in the exhibition. The project creates a community of active, highly-motivated and ambitious business-leaders striving to succeed on global markets.

Startup Connect’s representatives told the visitors about results achieved and directions of support for fledgling entrepreneurs and SMEs. Besides, ITMO University students participated in a competition, held by project representatives, where they had a chance to get a T-shirt for their brilliant startup ideas.

The event closed with the main official session which was attended by representatives of financing sides responsible for decision-making, public and media relations. During the session, the results of Good Communication Awards 2019 competition were announced. The Multipass port project was declared the winner of the Award.
